Everything You Need to Know

What is an escape room?

Escape rooms are elaborately themed experiences that require you to complete a series of mental, and sometimes physical challenges with the ultimate goal of completing all challenges within the allotted time (typically 60 minutes).

How much time do I get?

Most experiences are typically 60 minutes, but some offerings may vary. Please review the descriptions for each offering to get specific time alotments.

When are you open?

Friday: 6-9pm

Saturday: 11:00am – 9:30pm

Sunday: 11:00am – 5pm

We can also schedule parties and corporate events during other times of the week by appointment.

Do you do birthday parties or other special events?

Yes! Please contact us directly to discuss your event needs.

How many people can each room accommodate?

Each offering varies in the number of people it accommodates, please review the details for each experience for booking limits.

Will there be other groups in the room at the same time?

No. All bookings are private, only the members of your party will occupy the room.

How difficult are the challenges?

The difficulty level varies by offering, but we have the ability to adjust the difficulty to match your skill level, which is actually something unique to Five Senses and distinguishes us from common escape rooms.

Is it scary or frightening?

Not unless you’ve chosen an offering which is explicitly described as a frightening experience. Although with some experiences, there may be brief periods of loud noises or special effects that can be startling if not expected.

What ages do guests have to be?

We recommend a minimum of 12 and older, but younger children can participate. Please keep in mind that younger children may not be able to contribute as much to solving challenges, which will make completing all challenges within the allotted time more difficult for your group.

Are your rooms handicap accessible?

Yes! All areas accessible to the public are ADA compliant. Some offerings do feature challenges that may be especially difficult for physically disabled individuals, however any element can be bypassed if needed. Guests will never be required to do anything beyond their level of physical ability.

Do you have food available?

No, but you are welcome to have food catered. We offer tables and chairs for parties or meetings. There is no charge for groups of 8 or more and a $50 charge for groups under 8.

Do you have a meeting area?

Yes, and we have a large screen TV for presentations.

Can we have a party at your place?

Yes, there is a $50 charge for table set up and clean up. For groups of 8 or more, the fee is waived.

Are you open during the weekday?

Our regular hours are Friday–Sunday, but we do open for businesses, team building events, special occasions, and parties during the week.

Do you have Christmas and New Year's hours?

We are typically open Thanksgiving weekend and the entire week before and after Christmas. Please check back closer to the holidays for specific dates and hours.

Do we need prior knowledge of science fiction?

No! While fans will appreciate the references, you don’t need any sci-fi knowledge to enjoy or solve our escape rooms.

Do you take less than 4 players?

Please contact us within one hour of your desired booking time, or feel free to walk in within an hour of the booking slot to check availability.
